Cripes!

7 days ago was my birthday! I was going to blog, but I keep forgetting about this tumblr!! Woop woop, I have reached the age of 17!

Anyways, the weekend before my beautiful birthday I went to Edinboro, PA (a mere 25 minutes from here) to view the Scottish Festival & Highland Games! I forced my father to attend, even though he insists the Scotts are a dead culture, because I am very proud to call myself a Scott! (Who is looking for a green, blue, & grey kilt with green socks? Me!) One of my favorite events of the Highland Games is the caber toss! Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q8xFoGyIFE Besides the games, I love listening to the bagpipes! Hearing some of the best bagpipe bands from the area play ‘Scotland the Brave’ is amazing!

So, what can I say? I feel like I’m wasting my summer away? During the weekdays I don’t leave my house unless I go for a walk or have a doctor’s appointment. (Well, on Wednesdays I go to open mic at the local coffeehouse) Then on the weekends I go out, but not with my friends, my parents. The great things are happening the last month of my summer. I’m having a sleepover/party with my very close friends this weekend & then my great, beautiful, exciting trip to Minneapolis!

Anyways, I have a question for anyone who falls upon this tumblr. I’m thinking about turning this blog into something. Like, something where I talk about a subject a few times a week. I can’t think of a subject yet though. If, whoever reads this, can think of something interesting, let me know! What I mostly do while I’m home all day is submit to the stereotypes of a YouTube junkie & read the news. So, maybe that might help a bit or not. I don’t know.

Right now I’m trying really hard to focus on writing something for once. I used to think I couldn’t write for shit & that I couldn’t write with perfect grammar, but a friend of mine told me he loves my writing. So, I decided just to write shit down & hopefully getting something out of it, but I still can’t write with perfect grammar.
